Bicester Village commissioned 60 large scale flowers as part of an overarching village wide concept ‘Bicester in Bloom’. The flowers chosen by the client were all British seasonal flowers and ranged from 1.50m to over 2m tall.

Each flower was assembled with a variety of cutting, dyeing and hand finishing techniques to create these bespoke original and detail orientated pieces.

This commission from the V&A tasked us with creating large scale topiary inspired trees, which we made from thousands of hand dyed paper leaves. The designs replicate a mini model of a bay tree, a piece made by Peter Carl Faberge in 1911 that was showcased at the exhibition.

Faberge concept and commission by The V&A. Production, fabrication and install by Anna Grace Studio. Wooden tree trunk fabrication by No such thing studios.

  • Event, bespoke

For the launch of the Nespresso x Liberty collaboration, The Table Edit commissioned the studio to create large scale florals in the style of the Liberty print. A poppy, strawberry flower and vanilla flower were all scaled up to create an immersive experience for guests to dine amongst.

The flowers were then transported to the Nespresso window to celebrate the product launch on Regent St.

  • Window display

Commissioned by Ottolenghi, we were asked to help create a window design to help celebrate their 20th Anniversary. The window design was to be installed across all 5 Ottolenghi Deli’s, which we chose to decorate with a variety of fruit and vegetables, being staple ingredients across so many Ottolenghi dishes.

To create the designs, we used layers of intricately cut elements and hand assembled each fruit and vegetable to create 100’s of garlands. These were strung up in each window to create an eye catching display.

Concept, illustrations and installations by Anna Grace Studio. Window illustrations/ vinyl artwork by Jenny Roope.

From prototype to the final window display roll out we created these large scale yellow and peach roses for the global World of Jo Malone campaign. Lots of prototyping and finessing went into this project to create the perfect kind of rose to house the show stopping blinking animatronic eyes made by Jail Make.

Flowers and stems made and installed by Anna Grace Studio & Fiona Coupe studio.

We have made a selection of animals for Anthropologie over the years. Two of our favourite projects were building a fabric Octopus for the opening of the Barcelona store, and a 10ft bear for the Düsseldorf store opening.

  • Installation

Commissioned by the V&A, we created a large scale installation to be suspended across the Museums gift shop. The floral designs were inspired from a textile print by designer James Leman. We made over 80 flowers ranging from 50cm to 150cm, made from a range of paper and crepe paper.

We worked closely with Jo Malone to create these one off large scale paper flowers to be displayed in their flagship Regent St store. The flowers adorned a large scale Jo Malone heart box and emulated a wild flower summer display.

  • Collaborative

This project was a collaboration between Anna Grace studio and Paulina Piiponnen. We created these large scale flowers combining our skills of embroidery, textiles, product and set design. We used beads and pearls to create the detailed and opulent feeling flower centres and mechanical elements to create the petals to each flower. These flowers have now been sold but can be made to order.
